Painter from Tokyo. In his early years, Gomi received education at the Kawabata School of Painting and the Tokyo School of Fine Arts. Subsequently, he garnered recognition and awards from the Issui-kai art association, leading him to become a member of the same association. Following his relocation to Paris, he was trained at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière. He later received recognition through an award at the Le Salon exhibition. Post his departure from the Issui-kai, he embraced an independent path, emphasizing solo exhibitions. Gomi has earned a distinguished reputation as a master in the realm of still life painting.
