Painter from Wakayama Prefecture. Kigai joined the Taiheiyō Art Association, where he received training under Nakamura Fusetsu. Kigai showcased his works in a variety of exhibitions, both within Japan and internationally, including events such as the Japan International Art Exhibition and the Contemporary Japanese Art Exhibition. Member of the Kokuga-kai art association.
