Glass artist from Kyoto. Since 1996, Mishima Ritsue has been affiliated with a glass studio on the island of Murano and has been creating works in collaboration with its artisans. Major solo exhibitions include Frozen garden / Fruits of fire (Museum Boijmans, Rotterdam) in 2010, As it should be (Shiseido Gallery, Tokyo) in 2011 and IN GRIMANI (Palazzo Grimani. Venice) in 2013.
