Painter from Ehime Prefecture. Komoda initially received training from Inokuma Kenichirō and later under Wakita Kazu. After leaving the Department of Law at Chuo University, Komoda worked at the Ministry of Finance. However, in 1946, he chose to resign from his job in order to fully dedicate himself to his art. Komoda pursued representational expressions with serene color tones, employing the human body, still life, and landscapes as his chosen motifs. He exhibited at various art exhibitions, including Collaborative Art Group Exhibition, Japan Indépendants Exhibition, International Figurative Art Exhibition, and others. Member of Shinseisakuha-kyōkai art association.
