(1782–1846)
Literati painter of the late Edo period, born in Osaka. Hankō studied painting with his father, Okada Beisanjin, and from the works of Chinese masters of the Song, Yuan and Ming dynasties. Much of his work centers on landscapes and flower painting. Hankō also wrote poetry in Chinese.
